Dr Peter Corbett

I qualified as a doctor in 2017 at The University of Sheffield, and completed my GP training in South Birmingham in 2022, having joined Hall Green Health in 2021 for my final year of training. I enjoy all aspects of general practice, but have specific areas of interest in mental health, sexual health, LGBT healthcare and gender identity. 

In 2023 I joined Cheshire and Merseyside Gender Identity Collaborative (CMAGIC), working as a gender identity specialist in tandem with my GP work. Alongside this role, I’m working towards the RCP Professional Certificates in Gender Identity Healthcare, and I am keen to help improve access to healthcare for trans and non-binary patients in Birmingham in the future.
